Your trusted guide to Zimbabwe
Terms of Use
Using the Explore Zimbabwe Directory
Explore Zimbabwe helps people discover businesses, services and destinations in Zimbabwe. Directory profiles are provided to support discovery and do not guarantee a provider's service, performance or availability.
Business verification and due diligence
The green verified badge is shown when authorised staff record approval of the basic profile, or when the required category-specific accreditation checks are recorded. For tourism operators and accommodation or experience providers, the applicable tourism licence, registration and insurance checks also apply. The badge reflects recorded checks; it does not guarantee service quality, confirm current availability or mean that every contact or premise has been independently verified. Confirm details and terms directly before paying or committing.
Profiles labelled “Not verified” have not been checked or accredited by Explore Zimbabwe. They may be included for discovery using publicly available business details, but this does not establish that the business currently operates or that every displayed detail is correct. Contact the business and carry out your own checks before relying on its services or paying.
Google Maps information
Where a public Google Maps place can be confidently matched, its rating, rating count and opening times may be shown with a link to the source. This information is supplied by Google, is shown separately from Explore Zimbabwe reviews and checks, and may change. Confirm current hours and details directly with the business. A Google Maps listing is not an Explore Zimbabwe verification check.
Provider-stated service and payment options
Filters for UK- or US-based customers and payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or international payments are based on information supplied by the provider and reviewed before it appears. They are not independent tests of service availability or payment acceptance. Confirm the current payment method, currency, fees, recipient and service terms directly with the provider before sending money.
A WhatsApp filter means a WhatsApp number is listed. It does not mean Explore Zimbabwe tested response times or availability.
Diaspora AI finder and quote requests
The optional AI service finder may use the description you enter to extract request details and identify up to three published providers who have a moderator-approved profile and have chosen to accept quote requests. Review and correct the fields and providers before sending. The green badge records moderator approval of a basic profile; it is not a site inspection, statutory check, guarantee or proof of service quality.
When you submit a request, its service category, location, budget range, timeline and project scope are shared with the specific selected providers through their Explore Zimbabwe inboxes. Your name and account email are not included. No email or WhatsApp notification is sent automatically. A provider's response is displayed as a quote in the customer dashboard. Marking a provider as hired updates the platform status only; Explore Zimbabwe does not form a contract, confirm a booking, collect payment or guarantee that a provider will respond. Confirm identity, qualifications, availability, currency, payment recipient, terms and any agreement directly before committing.
Supplier quote tools are available only after an authorised moderator approves an account-to-business profile link. This limited access permits viewing requests addressed to that business and replying to them; it does not give permission to edit the public listing or change its verification checks.
Photographs and image use
Image rights and permissions
This section records the permission basis for photographs displayed on the site. Company logos, icons, flag symbols and other identity marks are not photographs and are not given per-logo copyright captions or photo-rights badges.
Owner-supplied originals are identified as such below and require no external photographer credit. Some are illustrative scenes, not documentary evidence of a named place, business, provider or current conditions. Other photographs are used under the specific licence shown in their record, with the required photographer, source and licence links.
For corrections, permission evidence or removal requests, contact the directory owner through the site's About us route with the image name.

Provider photographs
Suppliers may submit up to five optional gallery photographs with a free profile application. They must confirm that they own each image or have permission to submit and display it, and provide any required credit or source information. Submitted photos remain private to authorised moderators and are not shown publicly unless the application is approved and published. Approved photo credits are displayed with the gallery where supplied. Business logos are identification marks and do not appear in this photo register. The directory may remove photos when rights are unclear, challenged or revoked.
Other contributor photographs
Copyright in event photographs, user-submitted photos and other contributor photography remains with the uploader or its original rights holder. Contributors may submit a photograph only where they own it or hold permission to publish it. The directory may remove content when rights are unclear, challenged or revoked.
